Simple terms for working with YoursVA

In short

You see a sample of the work before you pay anything. A down payment is only required after you approve the sample test, and 25% of the project price starts the project.

1. Sample test first

Before any payment, YoursVA completes a sample test of the requested work so you can judge the quality. You are free to approve the sample, ask for changes, or decide not to continue.

2. Down payment

A down payment is only required after you approve the sample test. The down payment is 25% of the agreed project price, and work on the project starts once it is received.

3. Scope and quote

The tasks, deliverables, timeline and price are agreed in writing (by email or in the quote) before the project starts. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before it is done.

4. Remaining payment

The balance is paid according to the schedule stated in your quote.

5. What we need from you

You provide the information, files and system access needed for the work, and you confirm that you have the right to share them. Delays in providing these may move the delivery date.

6. Confidentiality

Your data and business information are used only to deliver your project. They are handled by in-house YoursVA staff and are not shared with third parties or outside freelancers.

7. Quality and corrections

If delivered work does not match the agreed scope, tell us and we will correct it.

8. Ending a project

Either side may end a project by written notice. Work completed up to that date is payable.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies to new projects; the terms in your quote apply to a project already agreed.
